Olga Potapova, PhD

CEO and Scientific Director

Olga Potapova is an expert in drug R&D and leading edge biotechnology. At Cureline, she manages major international collaborations, strategic development, and expansion into new biosample products and services.

Prior to founding Cureline, Inc. (www.cureline.com) and Cureline Clinical Consulting Partners (www.CCCPtrials.com) in 2003, Olga Potapova worked in the field of cancer research, including positions at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Pfizer (SUGEN). Olga has broad expertise in oncology, human molecular genetics and genomics, and her research experience includes 15+ years of molecular diagnostics development and translational medicine. Olga has received multiple AACR / AFLAC awards, a  NATO fellowship, and has published multiple scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.  Dr. Potapova holds international and US patents. 

Olga  Potapova received a M.Sc. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics/Biochemistry from the Russian Academy of Science.

Alexander M. Lituev, MD
Director, Tissue Bank

Alexander  Lituev has seven years of clinical experience including three years of clinical center management and business development.  Alexander was a Cureline tissue acquisition project manager in St. Petersburg (Russia), and joined the California-based team in 2004.  He supervises biomedical sample annotation (including project-based CRF development), standard specimen acquisition projects and histology laboratory projects.

Alexander Lituev received an M.D. from the Pavlov Medical Academy (St. Petersburg, Russia), and holds clinical certificates in Anesthesiology and Neurology.  He recently completed a certificate in clinical research conduct and management at UC Berkeley

Kathleen Talmadge
Director, Finance and Operations

Kathleen Talmadge has been an entrepreneur and a business manager for over 25 years.  At Cureline, Kathleen oversees project management and finance activities of the company.  

Prior to joining Cureline in 2005, Kathleen was instrumental in setting up and managing companies in the high-end retail, hospitality and service maintenance industries.  She brings to the Cureline team her extensive experience in finance, accounting, purchasing and contract negotiations. 

 Kathleen Talmadge holds a B.S. in Economics degree from Assumption College (Makati, Philippines).

Dmitry V. Belyaev, MD
Executive Director (Russia)
Director, Regulatory Affairs

Dmitry Belyaev has participated in the clinical research industry in Eastern Europe since the early 1990s. Dmitry oversees Cureline's activities in Russia and is responsible for protocol reviews and regulatory submissions. 

Dmitry  has a broad clinical research experience in a number of therapeutic areas, including Psychiatry, Oncology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, and Immunology.  Dmitry is an expert in Quality Assurance, GCP/GLP, and regulatory affairs for medicines and medical devices in the Russian Federation. He was also involved in the design and management of preclinical animal studies, and was a Deputy Scientific Director of one of the first biotechnology companies in Russia. 

Dmitry Belyaev received an M.D. from the Pavlov Medical Academy (St. Petersburg, Russia), and holds clinical certificates in Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry.

Olga V. Voronina, PhD
Co-Founder
Director, Strategic Alliances

Olga Voronina has more than 20 years of research experience in  protein expression analysis in mammalian tissues and DNA-based analytical methods for molecular analysis of Cystic Fibrosis mutations. Olga manages Cureline's international alliances with major medical and clinical centers in Eastern Europe and works on expansion of the Cureline tissue acquisition network.

Before starting a biomedical project management company in 2001, Olga was a Principal Scientist at the Institute for Experimental Medicine (St. Petersburg, Russia).  She published multiple scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, and holds international and US patents. 

Olga Voronina received a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics/Biochemistry from the Russian Academy of Science.
