New Cooperation

In September 2008 Cureline Inc. has signed a Strategic Alliance agreement with Predictive Biomarker Sciences, Inc., a privately held biotech company that is commercializing a novel technology for pre-clinical drug development developed at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and has its origin in the National Genomics Research Institute (NIH). This live cell technology tracks drug effects on genomic sensitivity and resistance pathways as well as identifying susceptible patient phenotype sub-populations and cell heterogeneity within a given tumor. The practical application of this real-time analysis can be used to demonstrate the efficacy of drugs on target and pathway modulation, suggest data driven combination regimens prior to beginning clinical trials, demonstrate superior effect of the addition of investigational drugs to standard treatments, and suggest patient phenotypes more likely to respond to therapy

Normal Human Tissue Panels

Normal SkinNon-target specific binding is investigated for therapeutic antibodies using panels of Cureline Inc. offers services in procurement of normal tissues (surgical specimens and 3 -12 hours post-mortem tissue) and cross-reactivity testing using immunohistochemical analysis (IHC).

For all tissue collection protocols, standard patient consent forms and operating procedures are developed to guard patients' rights and to use all samples with maximum efficiency.

Fresh Human Tissue and Blood

Fresh human tissues and blood are procured from healthy donors and clinically-defined patients and are delivered to the locations of our USA-based clients within 24-48 hours after the collection.

Cureline Inc. is utilizing AQIX technology (www.aqix.com) for preservation and transportation of human tissues. AQIX solutions contain the essential ingredients for maintenance of cell homeostasis in cadaver and surgical tissues.

Human Diseased and Normal Serum/Plasma Panels

Extensive panels of human serum and plasma samples are currently available for biomarker discovery and diagnostic test development studies. Cureline also provides project management services for collection of clinical blood derivatives under FDA-approved protocols. Solid tumors, blood disorders, CNS conditions, diabetes, and other indications are currently available.
